Another season in Engelberg. As usual, my second home is superb. This time a little different though, as I am here with my daughter Niva 8 months, the first aloha kid on her first season in the Alps..

Elisa came over to combine business and pleasure with us on Bali. She wrote an article about us and even helped us out with some designs on the upcoming jewelry collection.

14 year old Kamisa from Urban Tribe ran away with the 1st. place in Norwegian Championship in Streetdance Junior Elite.

I`m spending july in Torvikbukt- waiting for our new apartment in Oslo to be ready for takeover. Nice to be home again!

Last sunday we invited only girls for skating in Gamlebyen. No boys  were allowed in! Now it was time for the girls to enjoy Norways best concrete bowl. 

STRYN OPENING WEEKEND 2009 - There is something unique about Folven Camping during the opening week. The longing for more amazing trips down the mountain, the people you have gotten to know over the years and the good feeling of meeting new fabulous people! 

After finishing our collection presentation we had some time to go shopping in Izmir. We love! Izmir offers a wide variety of shopping possibilities; from fancy brand stores to traditional bazaars. 

After finishing our deadline for designing the summer 2010 collection, we headed right to Turkey to present the collection-details to our factory contacts there.. First, off to Istanbul and then to Izmir where we now produce our organic cotton products. While we are here we also perform factory- inspections, controls and spend some time socializing with our agents. We are really satisfied with our connections here and are proud of our fair-trade policy. 

As early as 1,5 year before a certain season starts, we start the design process for this season. We do a lot of research on upcoming colors and trends, decide upon a theme and colorshade, and make moodboards, which gives us inspiration to the collection. We will now share the themes and inspiration behind the summer 2009 collection with you..

Mokaii introduced the new winter collection 09/10 at Oslo Fashion Fair. Spectacular funny witty models with Mokaii clothing were catwalking to groovy beats...

After the rail contest in Cubaparken we had to take our first beer in the sun this year. Lovely! 

The 6Star Oakley Arctic Challenge was hold in the middle of the forest of Oslo. Of course were the happy alohagirls, Tonje and Åse on place!

I am now at my new work place for Aloha Hemp, Stryn. As I decided to move home it was great thet I had the opportunity to continue working for Aloha Hemp: Mokaii from here. 

We met Mira at Oslo Fashion Fair. Here she is looking smashing as usual with her new Mokaii hood and favorite Mokaii beanie.

The latest collection from Mokaii by Aloha Hemp was presented for a fashionable crowd at Oslo Fashion Fair last weekend. It was a great place to meet customers at the stand, and team riders and other friends in the skate area, at the Mokaii show and at the Mokaii release party. 

I was lucky enough to be able to bring my computer to my home office in Engelberg for a few weeks in January. Timing was great as the valley had it´s first snowfall since New Years. 

We just have to post some photos from our "Bali Office". The place we stayed at during our stay in Bali last fall. We miss it!!

Sportswear International Magazine gives us "The Top Buys "of the season spring/summer 2009. Presenting the reader for the best design from the catwalk in Copenhagen Vision Fair, I suddenly recognize the Crayon Tee (TS7-001-1) from Mokaii by Aloha Hemp.That´s so cool!!!   

The traffic on Bali is CRAZY, so you are lucky if you´re not a witness of an accident during your stay. I was in the middle of one. 

Bali is well known for good shopping, but we did not know about the wide selection of cool second hand stores:) We love!!

A bunch of smiling faces and lovely body’s (!) was gathering together for making the next winter catalogue for Mokaii by Aloha Hemp.  

Now it is time for making a new collection of necklaces and bracelets. Bali is a mecca for nice beads! And for inspiration.. We will be sitting on the beach braiding the next weeks. If anyone has any ideas and tips let us know!

Our teamrider Caroline Karlsen is also in Bali these days. Getting ready for the snowboard season by surfing here on Bali. We gathered for a fun photoshoot yesterday. Thank you Caroline!!

We love the opportunity to combine business and pleasure here on Bali! It is a good way to start the workday off with some nice waves.

A lot of cruising around on our motorbikes in the crazy traffic doing research, finding new suppliers, braiding necklaces and getting a lot of inspiration are among the things we are doing here. We love Bali; the people, the food, the atmosphere and off course the waves and the sun.
