Balian on the west coast, about 2,5 hours on motorbike from Kuta, is a great surf spot! Relaxed atmosphere, nice uncrowded waves and the best sunsets! Also a good place for yogaclasses.

Medewi is also a great surfspot on the west coast of Bali, 20 minutes north of Balian. Nice long and mellow waves!
